Here is the tree

ある日の突然の別れでした。秋になるとドングリが落ちてくる樹でした。しかしその日…。
ある瞬間に、この樹がある方向を見ていたんですが、まず気が付いたのは建物の色でした。あれ？ あの建物、あんなに白かったけな…。と思いながら、この樹のある方向に歩いていき近くまで来て…やっとそれに気が付きました。あ！
切られている…。さっき気付いた"建物の白さ"に目を向けると、どの建物を見てそう思ったのか、確信が持てなくなっていました。あれあれ？ どれって、いくつもある訳ではないのに…。
そしてやっと、この樹が無かったんだということに気が付きました。"建物の白さ"が気になったのは、この樹が無くなっていて、その建物が見えるようになっていたのに、何故見えるのか、とは気が付かなかったんです。なんだそれ。何だかなぁ。なんか間が抜けている…。
切り株の周りでウロチョロっとしていると、蘖(ひこばえ)を発見しました。希望…。ニンゲンの手前勝手な感情が、少し救われたような気がしました。

When I saw a direction, I didn't notice about that, I just noticed a building looked so white. I was wondering and didn't know the building was so white...painting ? But when?
When I was walking to the direction where was the tree, I noticed that the tree has been cut.
I was not sure about the building, which one, I thought it's white. There were not so many buildings, though.
Finally, I understood, there was no trees. The tree wasn't there. But, I didn't notice about the tree, as I did notice the building. Why? What's wrong? I was careless.
I walked around the tree, I found a tiller. Hope? I thought that my uncomfortable feelings were saved by it.
