この "Gang aft agley" はチンプンカンプンです。 "agley" 以外の単語は知らない訳ではないのでまず "agley" を辞書で見ると：off the right line; awry; wrong (Dictionary.com) とありましたが全体の意味がいまひとつわかりませんので今度は辞書ではなくGoogleで "Gang aft agley" のまま検索するとぞろぞろ引っ掛かりました。幾つかのサイトを読みましたがやはり一番分かり易いのはWikipediaでした。Wikipediaの説明の一部を引用します。
