リーダーの資質①
Character required for as a leader:

リーダーの資質について、中国の明代の著名な思想家である呂新吾は、政治のあり方を説いた著書「呻吟語」の中で、「深沈厚重ナルハ是レ第一等ノ資質」と述べています。つまり、リーダーとして一番重要な資質とは、常に深く物事を考える重厚な性質を持つ人格者であるべきだ、と言っているのです。
When it comes to the qualifications for a leader, a famous philosopher Ryo Shingo in the Ming Dynasty in China said in his political book titled "Shingin-go" that to think of things deeply and carefully is the best and first qualification. It means he said that as the most important qualification, a leader should have a profound character with which he could always thing of things deeply and carefully.
さらに呂新吾は、同じ「呻吟語」の中で、「聡明才弁ナルハ是レ第三等ノ資質」と述べています。つまり、頭がよくて才能があり、弁舌が立つことは、三番目の資質でしかない、と言っています。
The philosopher further said in the same book that to be intelligent and be eloquent in speech is the third qualification. That means being smart, rich in talent, eloquent in speech would be no more than the third qualification.

There are lot of things in the world, but there is nothing useless. There is a way of use for each of them, I think.
