「UK businesses will have to show that their products and supply lines are free from illegal deforestation, under government plans.

A proposed law would require larger companies operating in the UK to show where commodities such as cocoa, soy, rubber and palm oil originated from.

It would be illegal to use products that fail to comply with laws to protect nature in those origin nations.

Critics though say the plan is flawed and lacks detail on penalties.」

　…基本的には良いことなんだが、さてどこまで実効性があるものか、どこまでトレースできるのか―多々問題はあろう。

「Malware which signed users up to subscription services without their permission has been found on thousands of mobiles sold in Africa.

Anti-fraud firm Upstream found the malicious code on 53,000 Tecno handsets, sold in Ethiopia, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana and South Africa.

Manufacturer Transsion told Buzzfeed it was installed in the supply chain without its knowledge.」

　最近の中国は、なんでこんな狙ったように世界に嫌われるようなことを世界に嫌われるような見事なタイミングでやらかすのか―と頭を抱えたくなるが。アフリカ諸国で売却しているスマホに、あんまりにも陰で動くプログラムを組み込みすぎだ！という文句がでているという。

　いやあ、勝手にアップデートしててくれた方が楽っちゃあ楽なんですが。
　しかしあんまり勝手に通信量を使われすぎると―時折、通信料の点で人民が苦しむのですわな。そこらへん、我らアフリカ人民からの搾取の構造になってやしねぇか？！というのは、そりゃあ当事者としては言いたくもなろう。
