…どうも鉱山会社が地元の人間に貢献してないぞ、仕事を与えてくれないぞ、という不満があり、それで作業員が大挙して押し入ろうとしたもののよう。この際、警備を排除するためか自衛のためか、お手製長銃とかポンプアクション銃とか持ち出したのだそうで―軍としてはこれは自衛であるとの解釈。
