「Somalia has called for a UN investigation after five Somalis were found frozen to death at the border between Turkey and Greece earlier this month.

Somalia urged the UN refugee agency, UNHCR, to investigate the deaths.

The nation was "deeply saddened" by the deaths and offered "heartfelt" condolences to the families of the victims, the foreign ministry said in a statement.」

　トルコ側では、ギリシャ側（の国境警備・沿岸警備、でしょう）がトルコ側に難民を押しやった、そのせいで行き場を失った者たちが死亡したのだ、これはギリシャの押し戻しと虐待が悪い、と説明するとのこと。

「Turkey's Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said 12 migrants "pushed back" by Greece froze to death in his country's north-western Edirne province.

Turkish media and officials often accuse Greece of pushing back migrants in waters close to Turkey.」

　もちろんギリシャ側は否定。…トルコとギリシャとの間では、なかなかどっちの海ともつかないだろう―などというのは、地球の裏側の住民の雑な感想だろうな。

　ともあれ一気に12名もとなると、ソマリア当局としても見過ごしにはできないと。
