退役軍人、男性なら一般の20％増し、女性なら一般に二倍も自殺率が高いんだそうで。そりゃまあ精神を病んで退役したならそりゃ自殺率も高いだろう、といえばいえるが、ならなんで病むんだ、つーか病まざるを得ないような仕事を職務に含むんだから、精神衛生上の配慮は当然、余計目にいるわな、というか。

まずは2001年以降の400例ほどを調査する。12カ月以内に調査結果を報告することになっているとか。

「"Those veterans and all serving men and women protect our community and our freedoms. It is our duty to do the same for them," Mr Morrison said in a statement.」
