The two domestic indemnity insurance companies of the third-ranked Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. and the fifth-ranked NIPPONKOA Insurance Company,Limited have both decided to merge with each other around the spring next year.Specifically,Sompo Japan set up a new holding company for the deal and the two insurance companies will come under the new holding entity. The combined insurance premium revenue of the two will be more than 2 trillion yen.In the current nonlife insurance industry in Japan, there have been a series of realignment movements, such as the one that Mitsui Sumitome Insurance Group Holdings,Incorporated, Aioi Insurance Co.,Ltd. and Nissay Dowa General Insurance Co.,Ltd will merge and be born as a new indemnity insurance company in April next year.Along with this new entity established by Mitsui Sumitomo and others and Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. ,the newly-established insurance company plan this time will make Japan's indemnity insurance business map occupied by maily (painted by) these three big insurance groups.

参考:最後の部分、日本の損保業界が今後大手三社時代に突入するというところはもっとすっきりした表現にできると思うのですが、このままにしておきます。自分の個性は尊重すべきだと思うからです。
