"dia" も "tribe" も知っている英語ですが "diatribe" となるとどうも分かりません。　記事を読めば見当がつくでしょうか？
内容は "17 Again" と言う映画の批評ですが、酷評です。

とこき下ろしています。　 何となく "diatribe" の意味が分かるような気もしますが辞書を引いたほうが早そうなのでいつものように "diatribe" をOneLookで見ます。

この映画評論家は恐らく中年男でしょう。　ところで日本語の中高年は50/60代の人間にとって "euphemism"　ですね。　３７歳の中年と同じ分類に入るのでは３０代の青年に悪いですよね。
