イェメンはいつも通り、医療資源不足で対応に難

　記事を読めば「ああ、大変だなあ、これは危機なのだ」と思うが、記事から目を離すと「なんだ、今まで通りじゃないか」と思い直せるという嫌な状況。そりゃ危機レベル92やってるところに+3とか付け加わっても、非常にヤバげなこと自体は変わらない。停戦が成ったことで人が死ぬペース自体は減るかもしれないし。

　…とはいえそれは、コロナウィルスが大流行して大規模に人を死なさなければ、のお話。

　医療者用のエプロンやマスクからして汚れてたり初歩的だったり。赤外線体温計なんてさほどなく。検査用の資材も調査チームも救急車も足りやしない。

「"We don't have enough infra-red temperature measuring devices; there's a shortage of swabs for diagnosis and even the surveillance teams in the area do not have an ambulance to use for any suspected cases."」

　WHOが言うには、ラボが四セットあるんだとか。その時点で足りなくない、それ？と言いたくなるだろう。

「Figures from the WHO show there are just four labs for the whole country that do coronavirus testing. A fifth is due to come online soon.」

　というか、「手を洗いなさい！」と指導しても、そもそも水道が不足しているので、手洗いによる予防効果も限定的。ついでに洪水なんか起っちゃったりして。…これ、ゲームでこんな状況になったら、リセットかけたくなるなぁ…。

　さらには国境管理は機能してないわけであり、感染者がいつの間にか入り込んでる可能性はいつでも否定できない。

　幸い、現時点では感染者も死者も非常に限定的な数しかでていない。が。対応状況は上述のごとく。なのでいったん、入り込まれたら、まあ…想像したくもないわなあ、という…。
