「Sri Lanka's prime minister says the country needs at least $5bn (£4bn) over the next six months to pay for essential goods as it faces its worst economic crisis in more than 70 years.」
「Ranil Wickremesinghe told parliament the money is needed for basic items such as food, fuel and fertiliser.」
お金は何に必要って、食料・燃料・肥料だそうで、ほんとにbasic itemsだなそれ。諸種燃料に$3.3bn、食料に$900m、肥料に$600m、調理用燃料に$250m。衣食足りてというが、なんというか、着物はとりあえず手持ちのを着るから食い物を！という感。とりあえず医療品の数字は書いてない。もしかしたらこれ、コロナは差し当たりおいておこうと言ってますね？

…国家の計画で食料をというなら、公務員等々の忠誠を確保するための資源も必要だろうに、それはさておき全国民への食料を確保する方がだな、というあたり、ほんとしゃれにならん。

…ちょっとこれはなあ、なまなかな備蓄では絶対に間に合わない。

It comes as severe shortages of essentials, including food, helped to push inflation, the rate at which prices rise, to a new record high.」
「Also on Tuesday, official figures showed that Sri Lanka's rate of inflation rose to a record 39.1% in May, from a year ago. It had reached a previous high of 29.8% in April.」
インフレ率は4月段階で昨年比29.8%。
