The saleslady of the flower shop in downtown 下町の花屋のおばちゃん

のんびりと過ごした休日、近所の下町の商店街へお買い物に行った。

スーパーで食料を調達した後、部屋に飾る花を買いたかったので、いつも行く安い店に行ったら、

もう遅い時間だったから閉まっていた。

もう一つの花屋に行った。

花屋のおばちゃんは、下町の八百屋のおっさんみたいな古典的ギャグで「５００万円です！」と言った。

はいはい、という感じでにこやかに５００円を渡すと、

「今誰かが本当に５００万円、はい、ってくれたらいいねぇ～。」とおっしゃる。

ふ～ん、そりゃ本当にいいな～、「そうですね～！」と答えると、おばちゃんは

「もし本当にくれたらあなたに半分あげるね。」だって。

やった～！！

母の日が近いので、５００円のカーネーションの入った花束にした。

The relaxing holiday, I went shopping downtown.

 

I got some food at the supermarket, then I went to my favorite flower shop to buy some flowers for my room. But it was closed for the day.

 

So I went to another one.

 

The saleslady said to me “It’s 5,000,000 yen.” It’s a classic joke of Japanese greengrocer.

 

I just smiled and paid 500 yen, and she said “It would be very good if someone really gave me 5,000,000 yen.”

 

I said “Yes, it would be really good!!”

 

Then, she said “If that really happened, I would give you a half of it.”

 

Yopiiiii!!(^o^)

 

Mother’s day is coming soon, so I got a bouquet of flowers with 500 yen carnation.

The relax holiday, I went to shopping to my downtown.

After I got some foods in a supermarket, I wanted to buy some flowers for my room.

It was late, so the shop I often go was already closed, so I got flowers in another shop.

The saleslady said to me "5,000,000 yen." like a traditional vegetable shop salesclerk man.

Aha, and she said " It will be very good if someone really gave me 5,000,000 yen."

I said "Yes, it will be really good!!"

She said " If someone really gave me 5,000,000 yen now, I'll give you a half."

Mother's day will close, so I got a bouquet within carnation 500 yen.
