戦後27年間に沖縄に住んだ多くの米軍人・軍属の方々が残した貴重な記録がネットで公開されています。以下のサイトは日本語翻訳可能です。以前書いてこのブログに公開していた『八月十五夜の茶屋』関連の論考が最近アクセスが多かったので、こちらにアクセスした方々のURLを確認すると、どうも最近1954年に沖縄で上演された『八月十五夜の茶屋』関連の写真や資料を公開した沖縄アーカイブ研究所からでした。貴重な写真やデータが開示されています。
PDFファイルは以下に紹介した元米軍専属の写真家の方のサイトでした。復帰50年を振り返る時、戦後27年間の沖縄を占領した米軍人の視点から見据えるのも貴重な記録だとよくわかります。
『八月十五夜の茶屋』に関しては沖縄や日本、アメリカでの舞台公演に関してまとめる予定でまだ完結していません。沖縄、ブロードウェイ、東京の公演に関していろいろリサーチしていて、ある程度は踏み込めたのですが、結局小論を書いたままです。また納得のいく宝探し（リサーチ）とそのまとめをしたいと、意識が喚起されました。謝！
