差別発言への対応問題：「あ、ムスリム？ 私、ムスリムを信じてないのよね」案件

「あの、あなた、ムスリム？　なら私、あんた達の職業倫理を信用してないのよね。だってコーランって、カスタマーサービスについて違う理解をしてるでしょ。ヒンドゥー教徒に替わってもらえる？」
　…これに対して、ヒンドゥーっぽい名前のひとが替って対応したというので問題に。

　そりゃ問題だ。
　ばっちりはっきり、差別発言であって、近現代市民社会では許されぬものと判定すべきもの、と信じる。

「Many people have also trolled Ms Singh for her tweet - one called her a "Hindu bigot" and another referred to her as a "hatemonger".

Ms Singh has since responded, claiming that those who have criticised her have only proved her right.」

　主観的にはちょっとした希望を言ったに過ぎないのにこれだけ批判に晒されるということは、当然、この「ちょっとした希望」はあってしかるべきなのだ―という理解をするわけだ。

　社会の分断が進みつつあるという恐るべき事態であるわけで、メモしておきたい。

　インドで、パスポート監督の公務員が、「ああ、ヒンドゥーの奥さんに―ムスリムのダンナ？　ああ、ダンナはヒンドゥーに改宗してくれる？」とか無茶をやって異動。でなきゃあ、奥さんのほうに名字を変えろと叫んだという。

　日常的にそれなりの差別心が発生するのは止むを得ないことだが、モロ出しにしていいわけでもない。

　…非常に微妙な点に関わりますからねー…。
