継続が非凡を生む
Continuation will give birth to uncommon.

あまり立派でない会社には賢い人は誰も寄りつかないし、よしんば入ってくれてもすぐに辞めてしまい、鈍な者だけが残る。
Smart people would not come to a not so good company, and even if they join it, they usually quit it soon. Then only dull people are left.
ところが、四十年経ってみると、当時愚鈍そうに見えた人が、非凡な人に変わっている。継続が平凡な人を非凡に変えたのである。一つのことを飽きもしないで、生涯を通じて努力してきた人、そういう人が、結局は名人、達人と言われるようになる。
However, after forty years have passed, we sometimes see persons who used to look dull in those days have changed to be uncommon, great persons. It is an example that continuation has changed common people to uncommon ones. Those who have made efforts to one thing throughout their life without getting tired with that. That kind of person would finally come to be a great person called a master, or an expert.
