組織に命を吹き込む
To inspire a life to an organization:

組織とは、本来無生物だが、経営者の意志や意識が吹き込まれることによって、あたかも生物のように、ダイナミックに活動をし始めるーーーそのように組織に命を吹き込むことこそが、トップである社長のつとめなのではないだろうか。
An organization is originally inanimate, but when the intention or consciousness of the business manager is inspired to it, it would start to move in a dynamic way as if it were a living thing. Inspiring a life to an organization like that should be responsibility of the president, I think.

大阪商人は利にさといという。しかし商売人が利にうとかったら、武士が剣術を知らないのと同じことであろう。

The Osaka merchants are said to be alert to profits. But if a merchant is ignorant of profits, it would be as the same to a samurai ignorant of swordsmanship. (the Osaka merchants)
