プラスチックの海洋汚染のすごさを動画で目にするようになりました。人類の叡智を結集して解決に向かうことを念じるばかりです。プラスチックを再利用し、ゴミとして海洋に流れない工夫ができないのだろうか？科学技術がその方面で生かされ、応用され実用化されることを期待しているのですが、すでに取り組まれているような新聞記事を読んだことがありますが～、実際はどうなんでしょう。

But it’s estimated that no more than 10% of plastic produced has ever been recycled.
