ナイジェリア政府は外国から帰国した際のCovid防止の規定、つまり検疫期間の規定でしょうが、これに従わなかった、2000人以上のパスポートを1年ほど差し止めるそうな。
「The Nigerian government says it has suspended the passports of more than 2,000 Nigerians accused of violating Covid-prevention protocols after returning from abroad.
Dr Mukhtar Mohammed, who sits on the president's Covid committee, said that the passports would remain suspended for a year.」
地味にこうした規制・処罰がなされていくもののようで、まあその、なんとか各自対応されたし、と言ったところ。
DR Congo事情。既に日本語情報も出ているのではと思うが、エボラ対策に従事していた保健関係者がセクハラ等をしでかしたが、そのなかにWHOの人物も入っていたという。

「World Health Organization (WHO) staff were among 83 aid workers who sexually abused women and girls while tackling the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a report finds.
The abuses, which included nine allegations of rape, were committed by both national and international workers between 2018 and 2020.
The report comes after more than 50 local women reported sexual abuse.」
…接触で感染拡大する病気の対策に行ってて、さらに余計な接触をするというのは、なんというか…その点でまず驚いた。ウィルス5個で感染するとまで言われるアレな病気だぞ。そんなさなかに何やってるんだ。
何やらスーダンで新規にIS系列だという新組織が名乗りを上げたという。

「A previously unknown jihadist group has said it killed six Sudanese intelligence officers during a shootout on Tuesday.
The government had blamed the attack on militants from the Islamic State (IS) group.
But a jihadist group calling itself the Movement for Preaching and Combat said it had killed the Sudanese officers and denied any links with IS.」

当局は複数の国籍にわたる11名の外国人戦闘員を逮捕したと。それなりの実態はあるものらしく、だからこうして報道に乗るのだろうなあと。

「The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries has launched a campaign to vaccinate more than 2,000 dogs in the capital in a bid to reduce the spread of rabies, local media has reported.
The seven-day campaign - which kicked off in Juba in Central Equatoria State - will also roll out in four more regional states in an attempt to eliminate the disease.」
さらにほかの州にも展開する予定。…まあねえ、よしそうまで例は多くないにしてもだ、致死的なものだしねえ…。…ミャンマーであからさまに怪しい動きをする犬を見たことがあるけれど、まあ…縁もゆかりもない犬だけれど、まあ…ああなって早死にしていくわけだろう、気分は良くない。
予防できるなら予防した方がよいわね。
