ただ民放では夜中の録画放送とのことで、なんとか観るまでは情報を遮断しておきたいです。

なんとCincinnatiのBengalsがAFLを制して、地元開催の強運を引き当てているLosAngelsのRamsと対戦ですって。

これ、ポールブラウンスタジアムではお馴染みの掛け言葉で、誰がBengalsを倒せるんじゃい！（誰もいねーだろ？）という合言葉です。

もう裏では放送してるんでしょうな。

会社の時間が調整できて、放送を見れる人が羨ましい。

一応スーパーボウルはお祭りですので、我が家もピザにdietCokeで日曜日の夜を過ごしていました。赴任時のお話です。

現実の観戦はポールブラウンには二度ほど。オープン戦。チケットが高くてなかなか行けません。

接待されていった公式戦はvsStealersで、

大興奮でした。

ただ、プロよりも大学の対戦の方がまだ人気があるという、OhioはDetroitとライバル関係で、OhioState大学に行くと、校内看板のDの字には全部❌が上書きされています。

全米一の学生数を誇るOhioStateは有するそのスタジアムも馬鹿でかいです。

勝ったら赴任先の街や会社のみんなは大熱狂なんでしょうね。

Bengalsのチアに日本人の方がいて、自身の帰国（帰任）後にRedsに球団初の日本人選手の秋山翔吾選手が来ました。

Redsは全米一古いプロ球団で、ピートローズが最多安打でいました。(話が勝手に野球の話に移ってしまいました)

当時マイアミマーリンズに在籍していたイチローがCincinnatiに来た日にピートローズの永久欠番のお祝いセレモニーがあって、ピートの目の前でイチローが三塁打を放った時は、胸がすきました。

だってピートがイチローの記録を認めない(日本での記録を足すことを認めない)みたいなこと言ってたんで。

Redsを応援してましたけど、イチローやダルビッシュ、マー君、大谷翔平が来れば、Redsの応援と共に日本人選手の応援に駆けつけていました。

マエケンと岩隈選手は見れませんでしたねー。ただ、大坂なおみも錦織圭も観ました。松山英樹の話は前に書きましたね。

プロスポーツが身近な場所にくるというのがアメリカのすごいところの一つです。

I need to learn about English more and more

昨日はかなり厳しかった。pronunciationばかりだったような気もするが、気づけば未だにうまく喋れない。何を言っているのかはたどり返すことが出来ないくせに、なんとなくはわかるようになるという、、、、なんとも不思議な状態なのだが、これはもう口を使って、付いていくしかなかろう。

negotiationというsituationがたぶん慣れていないか、やったことがないからだろう。慣れていないことがまるわかりで結構厳しかった。
普段、提案したりされたりということがないからか、なかなか思うように言葉が出てこない。

もしもこんなことがしたいというものが出来たら、それにまつわる単語をどしどし覚えていくべきなんだろう。

今回覚えておくべきと言われた言い回しを以下に整理するつもりで書いておく。phrase、ideomをまずは頭にまずが入れておこう。
