US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan for a short period of time, and the tension between China and Taiwan was heightened as predicted.

This situation is similar to Ukraine.
Ukraine and Russia had an equal power balance. Russia has been gradually getting  advantage and pose as a Ukraine's senior.
Taiwan is a country of people who have escaped from China (I recognize as a country). 

That's why Russia's aim is letting Ukraine to　a follower, but China's aim is to recapture Taiwan.

In an emergency, China will be more likely to see as an enemy country when another country assists Taiwan.

Anti-Western and anti-American stance, vigilance against democracy, desire for the resurrection of a great power, adherence to power, control of speech and protection of dictatorship. Both are the worldviews that dictators dream.

mass expulsions of Russian diplomats

After Germany and France announced around 75 expulsions between them, countries including Italy, Spain and Slovenia followed.

Rather late, Today Japan also followed 8 diplomats and officials from the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Japan.

The expulsions were for alleged spying or "national security reasons", but come after international condemnation of killings in the town of Bucha, near Kyiv, where dozens of bodies were discovered after Russian troops withdrew.

To really punish Putin, world will have to crack down on his associates’ illicit funds.
