久しぶりの太陽観測。ただ、だんだん雲が広がって活動域の詳細なスケッチはなし。なんでも、サイクル２４のピークにさしかかっているとのことで、たくさんの黒点が見える。磁界が反転したり、コロナホールができたりと、ピークであることを指し示す現象が現れているという。
天気が悪くてずいぶん観測がご無沙汰になっていた。夕方、ふと気づくと見事な半月。今日はちょっと倍率を下げて静の海の西岸付近のクレーターをたくさん記録した。すぐそばにはアポロ１１号の着陸地点も。その時の飛行士たちの名前が付いた小さなクレーターが近くにあるらしいが、さすがに小望遠鏡では無理。
