“We can be very happy with second place today, especially on a track where we know that we aren’t normally so competitive. It is a good amount of points for the Team and what we needed after the last few races. There was very low grip on the inside of the grid at the start, which cost us a bit and the first few corners were pretty interesting, but we stayed calm and I quickly moved past Daniel again. I struggled to follow the Mercedes cars on the medium tyre as I had a lot of oversteer but once I pitted on to the hard we were more competitive and I focused on my own race which we managed well. It’s good to be back on the podium and we can definitely be pleased to finish within eight seconds of Bottas on this track.”

“P2 was very unexpected and I don’t say this often but I think this was one of my best ever qualifying laps and it felt really good. I was struggling a bit in Q1 and Q2 with the balance of the car and we made some small improvements to stabilise everything and in Q3, especially on the second run, they worked and the lap was good. Of course we want to fight for pole and wins but this year it is not possible all the time, so then to be able to split the two Mercedes cars is very satisfying and I’m happy to be on the front row here. I’m starting on the dirty side of the grid which does make a difference with the initial launch but I’m also on the medium tyre which is the best way for us. If we can have a decent start, the tow effect is very big so who knows what can happen into Turn Two. I think the Mercedes does still have more overall pace so they will be hard to beat but I’m happy with today and I think we really extracted more than we thought was possible and we can be very happy with that.”

                                      I went to Himeji castle where located in Himejicity Hyogoprefecuture.

                                     This castle is national tresure and world heritage

                                     ,and it caled Shirasgi (Egret)castle because it seem  white colorand spred wing.

“In general we know that this track is not the best for us but we have been trying different downforce levels in both sessions to see what the best option is. I think we could have done a bit better in FP2 but we tested a lot of things on the car. Some things worked and some didn’t but now we have some good ideas for tomorrow. I think qualifying is going to be tough and I am not sure if we can be in the top three but in the race we look a bit more competitive which I am happy about. Renault also look competitive but we have to look at ourselves and make sure we make the right trade-off for downforce levels and have a stable car. I know qualifying will be tight and there is still a bit of work to do to make sure we can finish on the podium, but I think we will be in the fight.”

“Being back at Enstone was a very good experience, they were very emotional days,” said Alonso. “A lot of things have changed; the simulator is new, the wind tunnel has been updated, but a few things are the same: there are the same offices, the gym that I used to visit a lot…

“It was a like a first day at school, with lots of things to learn and get through, but it was very productive. I’ve followed a programme in the simulator, getting used to the car a little, testing the facilities – last time I was here the simulator didn’t exist! Then I had a seat fit and meetings with key people to understand the programme for next year. It was really just getting up to speed.”

広島にて

先週、福岡に行く予定だったんだけど、台風10号の影響で

新幹線が広島止まりだったので　ひょんな事から

広島に泊まる事になったんです。

In last week,I was planning to go to Fukuoka prefecture from Tikyo for work , but I could not Fukuoka due to the typhoon and stayed Hiroshima city.
and then I walked and see around Hiroshima city

広島、初めて降りたけど　思ってたより大きな都市だったな。。

第一印象は、”川がいっぱいある！”　みたいな。

豪雨の災害とかを除けば　住みやすそうな印象でした。

Hiroshima City is located about 900 km to west of Tokyo 

and has a population of 1.17 million

Hiroshima castle(広島城）

広島城、時間が無くて　外から　ちょっと見ただけでした・・

また　来よう。。

夕方に広島に夕方についたので　ちょっと市内を一回りしただけだったので

今度　もっとゆっくり見て回りたいな。

広島球場（正式名　忘れた）も気になった。

 

 

冬の支度

　　　　　　　焚火シーズンのなる前に　焚き火用の木を買ってきました！

 

　　　　　　　アウトドア用の　ちゃんとした薪は高いので

　　　　　　　ホームセンターの端材売り場で（詰め放題200円）で

　　　　　　　詰め込んできたです。

　　　　　　　

　　　　　　　9月の終わりにはサツマイモが収穫できる予定なので

　　　　　　　焚き火で焼き芋だな。。

“I am of course very disappointed as I know this could have been a really good race for us. I had a good launch at the start of the race and went around Lewis but then the car just didn’t accelerate so I lost a lot of speed and had no power. I then dropped back into the midfield and got hit from behind. When you drop into the middle of the pack in the first few corners like that it’s quite easy to get involved in a crash so I’m not disappointed about that, we shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place. There isn’t much more to say but it is just really disappointing for the Team that we had to retire again, especially when we looked so competitive but it is of course good to see Alex maximize the result and get on the podium.”
