Aituria ハイブリッドシンセ 「MicroFreak」の新しいファームウェア v4 が公開

 Aituria ハイブリッドシンセ 「MicroFreak」の新しいファームウェアv4が公開されました。

 

「MicroFreak」の初期型が発売されたのが、たしか、２０１９年４月ですから、もう、２年以上たつのですが、次々にファームウエアのバージョンアップをしてくれるのはありがたい。さすが、Arturia 。なんか KORG に通じる手作り的な雰囲気が好きです。

　で、今回のバージョンアップの目玉は、

New WaveUser Engine の搭載。
Upload your own custom wavetables - or any Wav or Aiff file ! - into MicroFreak via MIDI Control Center, then tweak your sound using Table, Position, and Bit Depth controls.

　自分で、任意のウエーブテーブル（複数の1周期の基本波形を1つの波形であるかのように連続変化する波形）を読み込んで加工できるようになったことです。

Sequencer Unison & Chord Voices
Now, every note that MicroFreak plays will reflect whether it’s in Unison or Chord mode, including sequences, played notes, and notes received externally.

Faster Oscillator Encoder Settings
You can now select a faster scrolling speed for MicroFreak’s Oscillator encoders in Global Settings; holding ‘Shift’ lets you toggle the original slower setting.

など、機能強化が図られています。

更に、Wavetable を使った、新しいプリセットが ６４個提供されるという、おまけつきです。
