BBC Myanmar military leaders must face genocide charges, says UN 27 Aug 2018
国連の報告書は、ミャンマー・ラカインのロヒンギャ問題について、ミャンマー国軍指導部はジェノサイドの咎で調査されるべきであると「strongest condemnation」を発する。また、de facto leaderのアウンサンスーチーについても、するどく批判する由。
軍は、好戦主義者や反乱勢力への対処であると正当性を主張し続けてきたが、報告書的には「"Military necessity would never justify killing indiscriminately, gang raping women, assaulting children, and burning entire villages."」とあるそうで、軍事的必要性から…まあ…村を焼き尽くすのは「稀に良くある」ことだろうし、子供への暴行も一応15歳でもchildrenであるのは間違いなく、このくらいの歳なら反乱勢力の戦闘員である可能性も否定できないとまで弁明可能ではまああるけど、ついでに輪姦かます必然性ってまったくないしなあ…。

「According to the medical charity MSF, at least 6,700 Rohingya, including at least 730 children under the age of five, were killed in the first month after the violence broke out.」
避難民100人あたり1人の死者か…うん…『70万人もの難民を発生させる大惨事にしては、実際に死んだ犠牲者は少ないっぽいじゃない☆』という斜め下の弁護しか思いつかない。ナチスだのなんだのに比べ、超短期間になしとげ、付随被害をそれなりには低く抑えた、相当賢明になされた民族浄化行動である、という評価が可能だろうが、それって「…計画的に、ある人間集団を効率よく排除したという自白ですね？」といわざるをえない：「Myanmar's army is accused of a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing」。
というか、実際に死んだ数がそうまで高くないのは、国軍側と「反乱勢力」側との絶望的な装備差によるし。
…一応、ミャンマー国軍としては「ヤツラを追い出す」のが主目的だったっぽく、同様の装備差があっただろうナチスのユダヤ人「解決」を基準にとれば、相当「おやさしく」はある―比較対象がひどすぎるが。
