私は東洋大学校友会神奈川県支部理事会のお知らせで、初参加の3名に地図を添付送信しました

しかし、県民センター（横浜市）と北とぴあ（東京都北区）の地図を取り違えて、メールで添付送信してしまいました

添付した時と、送信する前に再確認すれば良いのですが、急ぐあまりにそれを怠りました

すぐに、正しい地図を再送信させていただきました

先日も、プリントパックへ会報の原稿を入稿する寸前、支払いを済ませてから発注書を読み直したら、「横書き・左綴じ」とすべきところを「縦書き・右綴じ」で発注していたことが判明しました

これを修正するには、再発注しか方法がないと知り、速やかにキャンセルをしてから再発注しました

あのまま入稿していたら、危うく、横書き文書なのに、右綴じの読みにくい会報になってしまうところでした

冷や汗が出ました。日頃から自分の「うっかり、見逃し、不注意」については自戒していたつもりですが、今回も反省させられました

I sent a map attachment to the three first-time attendees of the Toyo University Alumni Association Kanagawa Prefecture Branch Board of Directors meeting with an announcement!

However, I mistook the map of the Kanagawa Prefectural Center (Yokohama City) and the map of Kita-topia (Kita Ward, Tokyo) and sent them as attachments by e-mail!

I should have double-checked the map when I attached it and before sending it, but I was in such a hurry that I neglected to do so.

I immediately resent the correct map.

The other day, just before submitting a bulletin manuscript to Printpak, I reread the order form after paying for it and found that I had ordered a "portrait-right binding" when I should have ordered a "landscape-right binding".

I realized that the only way to correct this was to re-submit the order, so I promptly cancelled it and re-submitted the order.

If we had submitted the order as it was, we would have almost ended up with an illegible bulletin that was right-hand bound, even though it was written horizontally.

I broke out in a cold sweat. I have always been self-cautious about my "carelessness, omissions, and inattentiveness," but this time, too, I was made to reflect on my own mistakes.
