鷄いちず川崎駅前店の極小喫煙所〈英訳付〉

先日、私たちのちょい飲みは、鷄いちず川崎店で生ビールと生搾りレモンサワーを飲みながら、美味しいメニューをいただきました。

お店の喫煙所は、レジ横の狭い電話ボックスみたいな空間でした。

The otherday, our little drink of the day was at Torh-ichizu Kawasaki, where we enjoyed a delicious menu with draft beer and fresh squeezed lemon sours.

The smoking area of the restaurant was a small phone booth-like space next to the cash register.

さくら水産西日暮里店の喫煙所談義〈英訳付〉

川口、その翌日は西日暮里まで、私は横浜から出かけてきました。

さくら🌸水産西日暮里店で、福島県東白川郡塙町の同郷の5人で飲み食いしました。記念写真も撮りました。

違うテーブルの3人とお友達になり、一緒に写真を撮りました。一期一会の出会いがありました。

店内の喫煙所で、私は彼らにploom xをお勧めしました。

I went out from Yokohama to Kawaguchi and nextday to Nishi-Nippori.

We drank and ate at Sakura🌸 Suisan Nishi-Nippori restaurant with five of my hometown friends from Hanawa Town, Higashishirakawa County, Fukushima Prefecture. We also took a commemorative photo.

We made friends with three people from different tables and took a picture together. It was a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

In the smoking area of the restaurant, I recommended ploom x to them.

金色の郵便ポスト〈英訳付〉

郵便ポスト📮は赤いとは限らない

桜のソメイヨシノが生まれた街の駅前にはピンクの郵便ポストがあった

自衛隊のブルーインパルスが常駐している宮城県矢本町には、青い郵便ポストがあった

目を疑ったのは、西日暮里駅前の金メダル🥇記念郵便ポストである

明らかに金メダル🥇の色ではなく、金色に近づけた色合いのポストだった

やるなら、もっと金ピカにして欲しかった

東京オリンピック、野球⚾️での金メダル🥇、この地出身の横浜ベイスターズ山崎投手の名前がポストのプレートに刻まれていた

Postboxes 📮 are not necessarily red.

There was a pink mailbox in front of the station in the town where the Yoshino cherry tree was born.

There was a blue mailbox in Yamoto Town, Miyagi Prefecture, where the Self-Defense Force's Blue Impulse is permanently stationed.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the gold medal 🥇 commemorative mailbox in front of Nishi-Nippori Station.

It was clearly not the gold medal 🥇 color, but a post with a color closer to gold.

If I was going to do it, I wanted it to be more shiny.

The name of Yokohama Bay Stars pitcher Yamazaki, who is from this area and won the gold medal in baseball⚾️ at the Tokyo Olympics, was engraved on the post plate.

目白「田のじ」の喫煙スペース〈英訳付〉

おでん屋さんとして、なかなかの人気店、目白の「田のじ」では店内禁煙である

私は女性スタッフに、「喫煙所はございますか？」とお聞きしたら、「お店の外に用意しています」とのことでした

お店を出て、右側の石の上に天狗👺印のうずら卵水煮の空き缶が置かれていた

中をのぞくと水が入っており、これが灰皿なのだろうと、たばこを吸わせていただいた。スタンド灰皿じゃなかったけれど、たばこを吸える場所があるだけありがたいと思わなければならない時代なのだ

At "Tanoji" in Mejiro, a very popular oden restaurant, smoking is not allowed inside the restaurant!

I asked the female staff, "Do you have a smoking area?" I asked her, and she replied, "We have a smoking area outside the restaurant.

After leaving the restaurant, I found an empty can of boiled quail egg with Tengu👺 mark on a stone on the right side of the restaurant.

I looked inside and saw that it was filled with water, which I assumed was an ashtray, and was allowed to smoke a cigarette. It was not an ashtray, but we should be thankful that there are places where we can smoke cigarettes in this day and age.

イモガラの味噌汁（英訳付）

何年ぶりだろう

昨年末、福島県在住（塙町と浅川町）の従姉妹から送られてきた荷物の中に、イモガラが入っていた

今朝、妻がイモガラの味噌汁を作ってくれた

懐かしく、美味しくいただいた

How many years has it been?

Late last year, a parcel sent from my cousin who lives in Fukushima Prefecture (Hanawa Town and Asakawa Town) contained imogara (a food made from dried taro stems).

This morning, my girlfriend's wife made me a miso soup with scallions.

It was nostalgic and delicious.

林家時蔵師匠企画の深川落語倶楽部〈英訳付〉

2月22日、深川江戸資料館小劇場で開催された「深川落語倶楽部」に行ってきました。終演時間が遅くなり、横浜の自宅に着いたのは午後11時半過ぎでした。

東洋大学先輩である林家時蔵師匠の「親子酒」はもちろん良かったのですが、初めて聞いた古今亭文菊師匠の「錦の袈裟」には衝撃を受けました。身を乗り出しすほど引き込まれました。

笑点メンバー春風亭一之輔師匠の「蒟蒻問答」は、テレビとは別人と思えるほどのスピード感と迫力でした。

最後に登場した柳家花緑師匠の落語は2度目でしたが、今回の「百年目」は後半に向かうに從い、熱演がビシビシと観客席に伝播し、深川江戸資料館小劇場全体を鷲掴みにしました。

うん、日本伝統芸能の落語、たくさんの学びと感動がありました。

On February 22, I went to the "Fukagawa Rakugo Club" held at the Fukagawa Edo Shiryokan Small Theater. The show ended late, and I arrived at my home in Yokohama after 11:30 PM.

I enjoyed "Oyako Sake" by Hayashiya Tokizo, a senior at Toyo University, but was shocked by "Nishiki no Kesa" by Kokontei Bungiku, which I heard for the first time. I was so drawn in that I had to lean forward.

The "Konnyaku Mondou" by Shunputei Ichinosuke, a member of the Syohten, was so fast and powerful that it was hard to believe that he was a different person from the one on TV.

This was the second and final performance of rakugo by Yanagiya Karoku, and his enthusiastic performance of "The Hundredth Anniversary" followed the second half of the show, spreading to the audience and grabbing the entire Fukagawa Edo Shiryokan Little Theater by the throat.

I learned a lot and was moved by rakugo, a traditional Japanese art form!

冷凍食品の隆盛〈英訳付〉

寒い😵寒暖差に負けそう

相鉄線二俣川駅前に、冷凍食品専門の大型店ができ、とても繁盛しているそうだ

食卓、食事、料理、食材などの景色が移り変わり、加工食品業界の進化にも注目される

少子高齢化の中で、孤食が増加し、家で食事を作る手間、コストなどを考えると必然的な傾向なのだろう

A large store specializing in frozen foods has opened in front of Futamatagawa Station on the Sotetsu Line, and it is said to be very prosperous.

The landscape of dining tables, meals, dishes, ingredients, etc. is changing, and the evolution of the processed food industry is also attracting attention.

With the declining birthrate and aging population, the number of people eating alone is increasing, and this is an inevitable trend considering the time and cost of preparing meals at home.
