The other day, I got off at Shimbashi Station and walked to Atago Shrine.
Surprisingly, Atago Shrine is very close to Toranomon Hills.
Walking along MacArthur Road with your back to Shimbashi Station, turn left before Toranomon Hills, and you will find yourself on the approach to Atago Shrine.
If you turn left up the gentle slope, the NHK Museum of Broadcasting is on your right and Atago Shrine is on your left.
It's not something I have any connection with, but I suddenly felt like going down the "stairway to success" and then turning around and going back up.

I was out of breath and stopped twice to rest.
I can't for the life of me believe that people have ridden up here on horseback.
I paid a visit to Atago Shrine, admired the Nishikigoi carp in the pond, and paid a visit to Benzaiten by the pond.

Come to think of it, I used to use the smoking area in front of the NHK Museum of Broadcasting, but I have never been in the museum, so I would definitely like to visit it next time.
