今月、私は病院通いが続いています

内科、皮膚科に加え眼科（緑内障）、歯科（前歯の虫歯治療）です

さらに、2年半以来の横浜市がん検診を月末に予約しました

現役時代は、定期検診（半日ドッグ）の時期がくると、総務部スタッフが手続きをしてくれ、自分は尿と便を採取し、病院に行くだけでした（自己負担ゼロ）

リタイアしてからは、予約から検便キットの受け取りにはじまり、料金の支払いまで、すべて自分で行うことになります

自己管理の領域ですから、決めた時期に、年に一度、きちんと健康診断を受ける必要があります

しかし、高齢化に伴い時の流れが速く、同時に何かと億劫になりますので、私も前回の横浜市がん検診から2年半が経ってしまいました

高齢者になって、病院通いが増えている現実を再認識させられました

In addition to internal medicine and dermatology, I also go to the ophthalmologist (glaucoma) and dentist (cavity treatment for my front teeth).

Furthermore, I have booked a Yokohama City cancer screening at the end of the month, which is the first time in two and a half years.

When I was still working, when it was time for a regular checkup (half-day dog), the general affairs staff would take care of the paperwork, and I would just take my urine and stool samples and go to the hospital (no out-of-pocket expenses).

Since I retired, I have to do everything myself, from making the reservation to receiving the stool test kit and paying the fees.

Since it is an area of ​​self-management, I need to have a proper health check once a year at a set time.

However, as I get older, time passes quickly and at the same time, it becomes more of a hassle, so it has been two and a half years since my last Yokohama City cancer screening.

As I have become older, I have been reminded of the reality that I am going to the hospital more and more.
