Yesterday, I was reading a book during the day. 

I was late leaving the house. 

I didn't have anywhere to go, 

so I went to a pachinko parlor. 

It was Marine Day, a national holiday, 

so the pachinko parlor was very crowded.

 Marine Day is the anniversary of 

Emperor Meiji's launch of a ship.
