▼国民健康保険加入手続きのため、相鉄線「いずみ中央駅」まで出かけてきました。月に2回ほど、土曜日の午前中区役所が開いているとのことで、とても助かりました。もう一つ助かったことがあります。横浜に向かって一つ手前の「いずみ野駅」周辺には、まったく喫煙所がないのですが、「いずみ中央駅」周辺にはたくさんありました。I went out to Izumi-chuo Station on the Sotetsu Line to apply for National Health Insurance.
It was very helpful that the ward office is open on Saturday mornings twice a month.
There was one more thing that helped me. There are no smoking areas at all around Izumino Station, one stop before Yokohama, but there were many around Izumi-chuo Station.
▼駅を出てすぐのファミリーマートには、丸型のスタンド灰皿が設置されていましたし、その他のコンビニ前にも必ず喫煙スペースがありました。となり同士の駅周辺なのに、なぜこんなにも喫煙環境が異なるのか、とっても不思議です。それから、「いずみ中央駅」ホームで飲料自販機の脇に取り付けられた「カロリーメイトの自販機」を初めて見ました。There was a round ashtray at Family Mart right outside the station, and there were always smoking areas in front of other convenience stores.
It is very strange why the smoking environment is so different even though the stations are located next to each other. I also saw for the first time a "Calorie Mate vending machine" attached to the side of a beverage vending machine on the platform of Izumi-chuo Station.
