I went into the rest area that doubles as a restaurant in front of the Budokan and found a Family Mart vending machine, so I bought a rice ball, bread, and soy milk to eat.

It was an easier and cheaper way to get lunch than at a restaurant. Stand ashtrays were placed at the entrance to the rest area and I was allowed to smoke there.
