廃墟の菫これまでになき郷愁　

私が本格的に指導添削を始めて3ヵ月の成果を問う月刊「俳句界」掲載の俳句です。

皆さんの積極的な参加と私の指導に素直に従ってこられた結果です。

これまでの三行俳句には見られない、「切れ」と「取り合わせ」を基本とする季語のある、五七五の和訳に近い、つまり省略の効いた模範的な俳句の数々です。

これからも、「日本の俳句を国際俳句の標準に！」をモットーにしたFacebook「Haiku Column」の活動にご参加とご協力をお願い申し上げます。

These haiku were published in the monthly magazine "Haiku World" as a testament to the results of the 3 months since I began teaching and correcting haiku in earnest.

The haiku are the result of your active participation and obedience to my instruction.

They are exemplary haiku with seasonal words based on "Kire" and "Triawase" which are not found in conventional three-line haiku, and are close to Japanese transliteration of the 575 syllables, in other words, with effective abbreviations.

I will continue to publish haiku on Facebook under the motto "Japanese haiku to the international haiku standard!I would like to ask for your participation and cooperation in the activities of the Facebook "Haiku Column" with the motto "Haiku is the most important thing in the world of haiku"

The spinning tops must have been created spontaneously by watching them spin around when something fell on them. The spinning top starts spinning at a dizzying pace, and then stops shortly after. No matter how long it spins, if it does not keep spinning, it will immediately fall over.

人生に限りのありて独楽回る

物が落ちた時、くるくると回る様子を見て、自然発生的に独楽を作ったのだろう。独楽は目まぐるしく廻り出したかと思うと、間もなく止んでしまう。どんなに長く回転していても、回転しつづけなければたちまち倒れてしまう「独楽」の特性を限りある「人生」と結びつけて表現しているところに心惹かれる。

Yarn knitting" means knitting sweaters, scarves, gloves, etc. with wool yarn. Yarn knitting is not only about knitting one's own things, but also about knitting with love and care for the wearer. The way she knits, one by one, concentrating only on "knitting yarn," is like "knitting her life's purpose," and she loves the time she spends knitting woolen yarns.

生きがいを編み込みやうに毛糸編む　
〔永田満徳評〕
「毛糸編む」とはセーター、マフラー、手袋などを毛糸で編むこと。毛糸編みは自分のものを編むだけでなく、着る人のことを思いつつ、愛情や思いやりを込めて編むことが多い。「毛糸を編む」ことだけに集中し、一目一目編んでいる姿は「生きがいを編み込みやう」なもので、毛糸編む時間が愛しいのである。

It is said that "winter surfing" is the best season for beginners to practice surfing because there are fewer people and they can ride many good waves. A scene of two lovers enjoying surfing. The scene of a woman going up and a man slipping down on a large undulating wave is likened to "love" and is well described as "repeatedly going up and down.

冬のサーフィン恋は上下を繰り返す　
〔永田満徳評〕
「冬のサーフィン」は人が少なく、いい波にたくさん乗れるので、サーフィンの初心者にとってベストシーズンであると言われる。恋人同士がサーフィンを楽しんでいる情景。大きくうねる波に女が上になったり、男が下に滑り込んだりしている情景を「恋」に見立て、「上下を繰り返す」とうまく表現している。

◆俳句総合誌『俳句界』2024年３月号が発行されました。
◆俳句大学 〔Haiku Column〕のHAIKUから選句・選評した句を掲載しています。また、「俳句界」2019年１月号から毎月連載しています。
※ 2021年の『俳句界』１０月号から、優秀な作品が揃って来ましたので、１ページ増えて、３ページに渡って掲載しました。
◆R 2・12月号から作者の国名を入れています。

The March issue of 「HAIKUKAI俳句界」！
〜Haiku Colum of Haiku University [Monthly best Haikus]〜
◆the March issue of HAIKUKAI俳句界 has just been published. 
◆It contains the best haikus of the month selected by M. Nagata. 
◆according to the plan, we will continue to publish 2 lines haikus with kire and toriawase.

There are various theories on the origin and content of "Himehajime," but in general it is a "secret," the first activity of the New Year between a man and a woman, such as a husband and wife. I like the fact that the poem uses the seasonal term "Himehajime" to describe the fact that "we," born of the joyous union of man and woman, have forgotten that we are "tenants of the earth" and have begun to pollute the environment and destroy the natural environment.

姫始われら地球の借地人

「姫始」と言えば由来やその内容などは諸説あるが、一般には「秘め」で、夫妻など男女間における新年初めての営みである。めでたい男女の交わりによって生まれた「われら」は「地球の借地人」であることを忘れて、環境汚染や自然破壊に及んでいることを「姫始」という季語に込めて詠んでいるところがいい。

Noël est une fête célébrant la naissance du Christ et, en Occident, Noël est un jour de fête familiale où les familles et les proches se réunissent. Cependant, en raison de l'avancée militaire de la Russie et d'Israël, Noël, un jour où l'on souhaite la paix en famille et où l'on prie pour la paix dans le monde, ne peut pas être célébré honnêtement. C'est une représentation parfaite de la situation actuelle de "l'humanité qui souffre".

クリスマス人類苦しんでをりぬ

「クリスマス」はキリストの誕生を祝う祭りで、欧米ではクリスマスは家族や親戚が集まって過ごす家族の日である。しかし、ロシアやイスラエルの軍事進攻によって、家族平和を願い、世界平和を祈るクリスマスを素直に喜べない日が続いている。まさに現在の「人類苦しんでをりぬ」状況を見事に表現している。

Freedom of speech is the shield and safety valve that protects democracy from all forms of autocracy. In recent years, a tide of stifling free speech has been sweeping the world. Are you coughing and trying to stop people from speaking out, or are you trying to be courageous and appealing? Either way, the seasonal word "cough" is used effectively in the occasion of speaking out.

「言論の自由」こそは民主主義をあらゆる独裁主義から守る盾であり、安全弁である。近年、言論の自由を封じる風潮が世界を覆いつつある。咳払いをして、人の発言を制止しようとしているのか、勇気をもって訴えようとしているのか。いずれにしても、発言する折の「咳」という季語が有効に使っている。
