NHKの「マイ・ヒストリー／樹木希林」を録画しておいて、日を置き、二度見ました。録画削除せず、もう一度じっくり見たいと思います。
何といっても、樹木希林さんのお母さんである清子さんの生涯が、強く深く印象に残りました。そして、希林さんは番組の最後に、MCの今田耕司さんに向け「始めるの『始』という字は『女』が『台』になっていることでしょ。だから、いいお嫁さんを見つけなさい、早く」と語っていました。
清子さんの7つ下、水商売の女性と結婚することがご法度であった当時の警察官の職をさっさと投げ出し、琵琶奏者にして、クラゲのように生きたいなぁ、というお父さんの辰治さんにも心打たれました。

父親の異なる2人の子を養子に出し（捨て）、やがて横浜市野毛に呼び戻して、家業の串揚げ「叶屋」で一緒に仕事をした、というのですから驚きです。それを許し、勧め、見守った辰治さんの度量、そして他界するまで希林さん姉妹に隠し通した清子さん、すごい家族です。
I recorded NHK's My History/Kirin Kiki and watched it twice on different days. I would like to watch it again carefully without deleting the recording.

Above all, the life of Ms Ki-Kirin's mother, Kiyoko, left a strong and deep impression on me.
And at the end of the programme, Ms Ki-rin said to MC Koji Imada, "The character for 'start' is that 'woman' is 'dai', isn't it? So, find a good wife, quickly".

I was also struck by her father Tatsuji, seven years younger than Kiyoko, who quickly gave up his job as a police officer at the time when it was against the law to marry women in the water trade, and became a biwa player, saying he wanted to live like a jellyfish.

It is surprising that they adopted (abandoned) two children from different fathers, and eventually brought them back to Noge, Yokohama, to work together in the family business, Kanouya, a shish-kebab restaurant.
Tatsuji-san's courage in allowing, encouraging and watching over them, and Kiyoko-san's in keeping it a secret from Kirin-san and her sisters until she passed away, make them an amazing family.
