さらに、先日、Suicaカードを忘れてしまい、久しぶりに乗車券を買って改札口に通す、という一連の作業をしてみると、なおさらそう感じました。そして、現金で電車賃を支払い、横浜駅〜渋谷駅が390円であることも、改めて知りました。
思い返せば、37歳〜61歳まで小山駅・東京駅間を新幹線通勤していた自分が、いかに贅沢なことで、恵まれていたのかと再認識させられました。

田舎に住んでいると、余計に足がなくなったよう。大人の休日倶楽部を使っても、30%オフ、那須塩原と都区内で8000円近くかかります。とほほ😭
Now that I'm retired, I really understand how grateful I am for commuter passes, which were commonplace when I was still working. For unemployed elderly people, the cost of traveling by train is a significant burden.

I am one of those people who realized how grateful I am when I no longer have a Shinkansen commuter pass.
Living in the countryside, it seems like I have even less transportation. Even if I use the Adult Holiday Club, which offers a 30% discount, it still costs nearly 8,000 yen between Nasu-Shiobara and the Tokyo metropolitan area. Oh dear😭
