のら猫のミーちゃんは、とても警戒心が強い。

エサを運んでくる2、3人のご婦人方以外にはなついていない。

久しぶりに目を合わせ、「ミーちゃん」と呼びかけてみたが、敵を見るような目つきは変わらなかった。

Mi-chan, a stray cat, is very cautious.

She doesn't hang out with anyone other than a couple of ladies who bring her food.

She made eye contact for the first time in a while and called out "Mii-chan", but her eyes didn't change as if she was looking at an enemy.
