The transfer from Roppongi Subway Station to Nagatacho Station was complicated.
From Tokyo Midtown, I took the Chiyoda Line for the first time at Nogizaka Station.
The Nogi Shrine in front of the station was closed at 5pm and sunflowers🌻 were in bloom.
On the way there, it got tedious and I decided to walk from the National Diet Building station, smartphone in hand.
The back of the Parliament House is hilly and I felt short of breath after walking at a brisk pace. I passed by the Juzen Building, which I had passed by several times when I was in active service and which I had fond memories of.
I passed under the elevated Metropolitan Expressway and arrived at my destination, the Urban Centre Hotel. I immediately asked the hotel staff where the smoking room was located and was allowed to have a smoke.
