I was on my way to work near Mita Station when I was glued to this unassuming display board.
Tsuboi Kogyo Corporation, the designer of the Ginza-based company, is the company where Mr. Y, a classmate of mine at Toyo University (but three years older than me), worked part-time as a lodger in the president's office almost 50 years ago.
It was also a time when the university was in a lockout due to the student movement and there were no exams, and I remembered a great deal of things at the president's office, such as writing reports to earn credits, playing mahjong, eating ramen for the night at a food stall late at night, and breakfast at the cafeteria at the then Asahi Newspaper headquarters (in front of Yurakucho Station).
At the Fudanotsuji intersection on the way home, another high-rise building was under construction to the left of the Namco Bandai headquarters building. As I was taking pictures of the scene with my smartphone, I saw a passenger plane heading for Haneda Airport.
It comes not from the direction of Tokyo Bay, but over Shibuya. It would be scary if parts of the plane fell out or had an accident.
