▼ 先日、久しぶりに、文京区駒込の六義園へ立ち寄りました。2月の大雪被害のため、専門業者の庭師さんたちが、忙しそうに働いていました。首都圏をおそった豪雪の爪痕が、庭園内にもまざまざと残っていました。The other day I stopped by Rikugien Garden in Komagome, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, for the first time in many years.

▼ 六義園は庭園内全面禁煙でしたが、お隣の六義園公園には、子どもたちが遊んでいるなか、小さなスタンド灰皿があり、大人たちが一服していました。Although smoking was prohibited in Rikugien, there was a small ashtray stand in the neighboring Rikugien Park, where children were playing and adults were having a smoke.
