新型コロナウイルスについて、7月17日、東京都は新たに1万7790人の感染を発表しました。6日連続で1万人を超えました。（このあたりから、全国各地でコロナ感染者が急増してきました）

前週日曜日の9482人から8308人増加していて、30日連続で前週の同じ曜日の感染者数を上回りました。

そして、2週間後の本日〈7月30日〉は、全国の新型コロナウイルスの新規感染者数は22万2307人、過去2番目でした（土曜日としては過去最多）。

沖縄県5762人、広島県3270人、栃木県2881人、福井県1659人など6つの県で過去最多を更新しました。

東京都内の感染者は3万3466人で、3日連続で3万人超でした。

そして、私が住んでいる神奈川県では、本日、7人の死亡と10歳未満～100歳以上の男女1万5031人の感染が確認されました。

1日当たりの新規感染者数は9日連続で1万人を超えています。行政による自粛要請や行動制限が必要なのかも知れませんね。

On 17 July, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced 17,790 new cases of the new coronavirus, exceeding 10,000 for the sixth consecutive day. (Around this time, the number of coronavirus cases has been rising sharply across the country.)

This is an increase of 8308 cases from 9482 the previous Sunday, and is the 30th consecutive day that the number of infections has exceeded that of the same day of the previous week.

And today, two weeks later (30 July), the number of new cases of the new coronavirus nationwide was 222,307, the second highest number ever recorded for a Saturday.

Six prefectures recorded new record highs, including Okinawa (5762), Hiroshima (3270), Tochigi (2881) and Fukui (1659).

The number of infected people in Tokyo was 33,466, exceeding 30,000 for the third consecutive day.

And in Kanagawa Prefecture, where I live, seven deaths and 15,031 men and women aged under 10 to over 100 were confirmed infected today.

The number of new daily infections has exceeded 10,000 for nine consecutive days. It may be necessary for the government to request self-restraint and restrict activities.
