私は、これまでも高齢者向けの傷害保険にいくつか加入してきました。とくに、カード会社からの案内（無料で5年間保証、オプション有り）には、4社に申込みました。
しかし、その保険はすべてチューリッヒ銀行が管理しています。無料だから良いものの、狙いはオプション契約にあるわけで、私にはその意志はまったくありません。
保険証書が届いた頃に、必ず電話があり「オプション契約」の説明をされますが、私はその意志がないことを伝えます。
その後も同様の案内は届きますが、ゴミ箱に捨てています。今回は「介護保険」でした。高齢者の将来不安に、巧妙な語り口で保険を勧誘する動きは、テレビでも各種の生命保険および医療保険商品が宣伝されています。
保険については、私なりに準備していますし、あれもこれもと言い出したら限度がありません。保険貧乏という言葉があるくらいですから、私たち高齢者は気をつけないといけませんね。

I have been preparing for insurance in my own way, and there is no limit to what I can do. There is even a word, "insurance poverty," so we elderly people have to be careful.
