What is Dementia?
I answered a call that came in on the OB Society landline.
It was from Mr. B to Mr. T.
I told him I left this office several years ago.
He asked for my contact information, so I gave him my cell phone number.
I then gave Mr. B Mr. T's phone number.
I told Mr. T to call Mr. B just in case.
After that, I received a call from Mr. T.
It was Mr. B, whom I didn't know well. He kept saying crazy things like, "I'm in trouble because I've been notified of my termination from the head office," and I think he probably has dementia.
And that was it.
When I returned home, Mr. B called me on my cell phone and asked me, "What department is Mr. Miyazaki in?" He asked me.
He was very gentlemanly and polite.
However, what he said after that was a mess, and when I tried to ask him for more details, he said, "Okay, okay," and hung up the phone.
Even on the first call, I felt a little uncomfortable.
When I asked for Mr. B's phone number, he called his wife in a loud voice and taught her a lesson
When I connect these series of events, it seems that a healthy elderly person with dementia picked up a business card or a greeting card and made a random phone call.
Perhaps Mr. B's wife is going through quite a hard time.
Dementia, you must be afraid of it!
