忘年会の5連ちゃん！〈英訳付〉

月曜日から今夜まで、忘年会の5連ちゃんは、さすがこたえます。

Five year-end parties in a row, from Monday to tonight, is really tough.

誘われれば断れない我が性分なので、トイレで立ち眠りをするほど疲れました。多分、明日はクリスマスイブに備え、一日中眠っていることでしょう。

I'm the type of person who can't say no when invited, so I was so tired that I fell asleep standing up in the bathroom. I'll probably sleep all day tomorrow in preparation for Christmas Eve.

東京国際フォーラムの喫煙所にて！〈英訳付〉

有楽町駅下車3分、東京国際フォーラムの喫煙所です。どでかいホールBですが、喫煙所は2階に1か所しかありません。

3 minutes from Yurakucho Station, this is the smoking area of the Tokyo International Forum. Hall B is huge, but there is only one smoking area on the second floor.

スペースはそれなりにあるのですが、にわか造りっぽくて、喫煙所の中央が通路のようになっており、その左右に一列で4〜5人で満杯になる設計です。

There is enough space.

However, it looks like a hurried construction, and the center of the smoking area is like an aisle, and it is designed to be full with 4 to 5 people in a row on the left and right.

東海道新幹線の喫煙所に似ています。換気機能は、現在の求められる水準からすると不十分らしく、天井近くに「ここに向かって煙を吐いてください」的なマークが表示されていました。

喫煙所にもいろいろあることが、改めて理解できましたし、ここの喫煙所だって、今後鉄橋されてしまう可能性が高いと感じました。

It is similar to the Tokaido Shinkansen smoking area. The ventilation function seems to be inadequate by today's standards, and there was a mark near the ceiling that read, "Please exhale toward here."

I was able to understand again that there are various things in the smoking area, and I felt that there is a high possibility that the smoking area here will be iron bridged in the future.

干し柿の食べ過ぎという贅沢！

2018年12月21日 | O60→70（オーバー70歳）

朝一つ、帰宅してすぐに二つ、ヒモに吊るした福島県塙町産の干し柿から、抜き取って食べています。

乾燥し、かたくなる前に、おそらく、これほどたくさんあるのに、全部食べきってしまう勢いです。
