たばこの気持ち

先日、私はNHK「ヒューマンヒストリー（所ジョージ）」を見ました。その中で、所ジョージさんがデビューするきっかけとなった宇崎竜堂さんとのエピソードに、思わず笑ってしまいました。

そして、数本のたばこが果たした人と人をつなぐ役割に、ほっこりとさせられました。

所ジョージさんは、宇崎竜童さんに自分を売り込もうと、初対面のバーでとった行動が奇抜でした。向かい合ったテーブルの下から、見えないように、宇崎竜堂さんの方に手を差し出し、洋モク（たばこ）を掴ませ、「賄賂です」と言ったそうです。

宇崎竜堂さんは「面白い奴だなぁ」と、所さんを気に入って、ダウンタウンブギブギバントのステージの前座に起用したのです。

さらに、「所沢出身の面白いやつ」ということで、宇崎竜童さんが芸名を「所ジョージ」と名付けたということも、私は初めて知りました。

それから、所ジョージさんの父である角田光男さんが、家の台所に貼っていた「満足感を常に持て」という書が強く印象に残りました。

The other day I watched NHK's "Human History (George Tokoro)". I couldn't help but laugh at the episode with Ryudo Uzaki, the man who inspired George Tokoro to make his debut.

I was also touched by the role that a few cigarettes played in bringing people together.

Mr. George Tokoro took an eccentric action at the bar where he first met Mr. Ryudo Uzaki in order to sell himself to him. From under the table facing him, he held out his hand to Mr. Ryudo Uzaki so that he could not be seen, grabbed a cigarette, and said, "It's a bribe".

Mr. Uzaki took a liking to Mr. Tokoro, saying, "He's a funny guy," and appointed him as a starter for the Downtown Boogie-Boogie Bant stage.

I also learned for the first time that Mr. Ryudo Uzaki named his stage name "Tokoro George" because he was a "funny guy from Tokorozawa.

I was also strongly impressed by a calligraphy that Mr. Mitsuo Tsunoda, the father of George Tokoro, had posted in the kitchen of his house, "Always have a sense of satisfaction.

The picture is of a yellow Honda Super Cub. I came across it on my walk and thought it was cute, so I took a picture of it with my phone.

本日は、東洋大学校友会神奈川県支部の第3回理事会が開催され、私は理事として参加しました。

各種報告、議題について確認し合い、とくに、地元神奈川県支部として、箱根駅伝への対応などを話し合いました。

Today, the third meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kanagawa Branch of the Toyo University Alumni Association was held, and I participated as a board member.

We discussed various reports and agenda items, and in particular, as a local chapter in Kanagawa Prefecture, we discussed how to respond to the Hakone Ekiden (relay race).

ある日、私は妻とゴルフ練習場で汗を流した後、「もつしげ」横浜駅西口店に入りました。

この店で注文した料理は、次の通りです。

・前菜のキャベツ（お代わり自由）

・マカロニサラダ

・辛子もつ串

・つくね（タレ味）生ピーマンつき

・煮豆腐

・とり皮（タレ味）

お酒は、ハッピーアワー限定のメガハイボール（90円）を飲みました。

店内には、私の先輩である雨宮さんが住んでいる街に「府中店」がオープンしたというお知らせが掲示されていました。

そこで、私はそのお知らせをスマートフォンで撮って、雨宮さんのLINEに送信しました。

One day, after working out at the driving range with my wife, we went to the Yokohama Station West Exit branch of "Motsushige".

We ordered the following dishes at this restaurant

・Cabbage as an appetizer (free refills)

・Macaroni salad

・Spicy pork skewers

・Tsukune (tsukune with sauce) with fresh green pepper

・Boiled tofu

・Chicken skin (with sauce)

For drinks, I drank the mega highball (90 yen), which is only available during happy hour.

Inside the restaurant, there was a notice that the Fuchu branch had opened in the town where my senior, Amamiya-san, lives.

So I took a picture of the announcement with my smartphone and sent it to Mr. Amemiya's line.

先月初めのブランチは、私が作った栗ご飯とカミさん手製の豚汁、昆布の佃煮、黄色いたくわんでした

その後の予定があったので、もちろんお酒はなし

帰路、秋の清楚なバラが目に染みました
