Last week's (2021.11.11) episode of TV Tokyo's "Cambria Palace" featured the young president of "Iidaya" in the Kappa Bridge shopping district.
In it, I was interested in the following words.
----------
(1) After he took over the management of the shop and started taking the cooking tools seriously, the shop's sales, which had been on the verge of bankruptcy, improved.
However, half of the employees resigned because they said, "I don't want to work with you.
(2) He attended a management seminar recommended by his mother, where he was awakened by the lecturer who said, "You point fingers and criticize your employees for their mistakes, but you are not pointing fingers at yourself.
(3) Employees are not equal to the owner and cannot talk back well. So, he said, "I'm not sure what to do.
This is where he realized that only managers and executives are interested in sales quotas for their employees.
(4) Then he realized that only managers and executives are interested in sales quotas for employees; customers don't come to buy products to contribute to the store's sales.
⑸And I clarified the company rule that employees can ask the same question 20,000 times to their bosses.
As an adult, you don't want to ask something you don't want to hear.
Without thinking about it, it is the responsibility of the person telling the story to keep saying the right thing, so they made the rule that it doesn't matter how many times you ask.
----------
So, I have learned a lot from this broadcast.
By the way, the photos are of the shalinbai and sweets from Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture that I took on my walk.
