Merry Xmas！

横浜は快晴で暖かいです。

昨日、20年ぶりに元旦に届く期間内で、年賀状をほぼ書き終え投函しました。

年賀状100枚のうち、20枚もプリントミスなどにより、失敗したので明日郵便局で交換してきます。

It is sunny and warm in Yokohama.

Yesterday, for the first time in 20 years, I almost finished writing my New Year's greeting cards and posted them within the time frame for delivery on New Year's Day.

Out of 100 New Year's cards, 20 have failed due to printing errors, etc. I will be replacing them at the post office tomorrow.

やっと、どうにか私の繁忙期が終えました。

昨日、校友会関係で宛名を間違えていたことが判明しました。

関根様と書くべきところを「根根様」と書き、それでも届いたということで、その現物を関根様から、笑いながら見せられました。

関根様の娘さんが「すごいね」と爆笑していたそうです。たしかに私の筆跡でした。疲れていたんだなぁ、と恥ずかしさ以前に愕然ととしました。

繁忙期は終えたとはいえ、来週の月曜日と水曜日には仕上げの手続きが残っており、点検を怠らずやり遂げたいと思いました。

Finally, somehow my busy season is over.

Yesterday, I found out that I had made a mistake in addressing a letter related to the Alumni Association.

I wrote "Ms. Nene" when I should have written "Ms. Sekine," but it still arrived, and Ms. Sekine showed me the original with a laugh.

Ms. Sekine's daughter burst out laughing and said, "That's amazing. It was indeed my handwriting. I was shocked before I was embarrassed, thinking that I must have been tired.

Although the busy season was over, I still had to finish up the procedures on Monday and Wednesday of next week, and I wanted to complete them without neglecting my inspections.
