◎真岡市内からの帰路、「あっ、もう今年の麦の刈り入れが終わったのか」と、麦畑を見ながら信号待ちをしていたとき、電柱の脇に小さなスタンド灰皿があるのを発見しました。おそらく、現在ではほとんど使われていないと思われます。
◎車の通行は多いのですが、畑や林の中の交差点ですから、人通りは限られています。それにしても、昔懐かしい「広告付き」に小さなスタンド灰皿が、こうして今も残っていることに感動を覚えたのです。（2008.6.9）

その後に分かったのですが、灰皿と思っていたものは小学生たちが利用する黄色い手旗を出し入れする器具でした。（2022.11.22）
On my way home from Moka City, I was looking at the wheat field and waiting for the traffic light, wondering if this year's wheat harvest had already finished.
It's probably seldom used now.
There is a lot of car traffic, but the traffic is limited because it is an intersection in fields and forests.
Even so, I was moved by the fact that the nostalgic small standing ashtray with "advertisement" still exists. (2008.6.9)
I later found out that what I thought was an ashtray was a device used by elementary school students to put in and take out yellow hand flags. (2022.11.22)
