杉花粉症 Fay fever caused by Cryptomeria

In early spring season,the male flower of Sugi(Cryptomeria)
release trillions of tiny pollen grains.
Each grains is only one-thirtieth of a milimeter,and is so
light that on good wind can be carried several hundred kilometers.
Some people,react violently,desperately trying to eject foreign
substance with mucus and tears.
This is the origin of fay fever.
Japanese Cryptomeria(Cryptomeria Japonica)one of Japan's
most familiar trees,and called Sugi in Japanese close to
Calfolnia's giant sequoias and coast red wood.
A large number of peoples wear white masks and glasses
for protecting tiny pollen grains.
