たばこの気持ち

あ〜っ、赤ワインちょい飲みの酔いが覚めました。油断していました。

メキシコ産🇲🇽のカボチャは、まるっきり雄花だけしか咲かないと独断していたのです。

すっかり諦めて、ベランダの柵の外側に放り投げるようにしていました。

先ほど、何か丸い物が見えたので、手前に引き寄せるとカボチャの雌花が咲き終え、その下に丸い実があるではありませんか！

おそらく受粉させていないので、カボチャには育たないでしょうが、心底びっくりしましました。命の営みの偉大さを実感したのです。

Ahhh, I've sobered up from a little red wine. I was caught off guard.

I had been under the impression that Mexican 🇲🇽 pumpkins only produced male flowers.

I had given up completely and threw them outside the balcony fence.

A few moments ago, I saw something round, so I pulled it towards the front and saw that the female pumpkin had finished blooming and underneath it was a round fruit!

I was truly astonished, even though it probably won't grow into a pumpkin because it hasn't been pollinated. It made me realise the greatness of the workings of life.
