The other day, I took a picture of the school emblem that was in the yearbook of Hanawa Junior High School in Fukushima Prefecture with my smartphone, and while looking at it, I opened my sketchbook and drew a quick drawing.

The Fukushima Prefecture Higashi-Shirakawa-gun Hanawa Junior High School, which we graduated from, was created by merging three junior high schools in the town.
The school's emblem is a clever combination of three elements: mountains, flower petals, and nuts.
As I gazed at it, I gradually began to remember what happened back then, although most of it is far from my memory.
