詩が気になってしかたなかった曲〔The City of New Orleans〕
いろいろな人に歌われていて、オリジナルはスティーブ・グッドマンと言う人、はやらせたのはアーロ・ガスリー、私が知ったのはブラザーズ・フォアのCDから。 10年以上も前からブラ・フォーは歌い続けているらしいが、気になり始めたのはこの間生で聞いたのがきっかけ。

この部分は最高に盛り上がるところで、アメリカ愛国魂を感じさせる。 ♪I hear America Singing ♪♪に通じるところがあってブラ・ファーならではの聞かせ所。

あらためて思うに、ブラ・フォーというグループは、いろいろな名曲を自分達の節回し（すごく洗練されていると思う）で歌うことで、より広く流布している宣教師グループだなぁ、などと。
今、すばらしい詩のこの歌を覚えようと、いろいろとジタバタしている。
